Our Core Development Strengths

The backbone of our web-development world sits squarely on 5 technologies:

Nearly all other extension technologies we use are somehow rooted or inextricably tied to one of these technologies.

We do not and will not develop or support any projects sitting on IIS servers. If you are an MS shop and need support, please contact Night Technologies in Nashville as we don’t support MS products. This isn’t a knock against them, we have just chosen not to go this route.

We can however work with MSSQL (over the network. Of course, we can connect to and work with Oracle and MySQL.

Creative Tool Set

Our core CMS and Flagship infrastructure product is also known as the Creative Tool Set platform, and it’s built mostly in PHP. (It was developed it to be database independent). Creative tool set is a rapid-development tool that consolidates jQuery, TinyMCE, CodeMirror, jQuery Tools, Javascript/Flash widgets, CDN (Content Delivery Networking) and more ALL into a SINGLE platform (Layer 1). On top of this platform sits a series of “widgets” that allow clients to perform taskes (such as manage leads, real estate properties, sales, traffic, and their web site itself (Layer 2). Those widgets are all bolted together into an overall workflow management system (WMS) that can be used by anyone to create a functional web site as well as corresponding blueprint of that site (Layer 3). Finally, resellers such as graphic designers and small development shops can use these blueprints with truly ZERO knowledge of the underlying technologies (Layer 4).

In principle, Layer 1, 2, and 3 are very similar to WordPress and Joomla. However, it’s Layer 4 that sets our platform apart.

Creative Tool Set makes it vastly easier to rapidly deploy websites on modern technology as well as keep them updated simply by updating the underly core extension inside of the Creative Tool Set platform.
